Ellen has over a decade of experience recruiting talent for technology startups of varying maturity. She is known in the Triangle for her vast network and the quality of her recruits. Her favorite moments come when a candidate shares how much they love their new role or when a client says they can't imagine not having the person we placed on their staff.

As Curious' founder and a local startup investor, Ellen aims to foster a vibrant tech and creative community in the Raleigh-Durham region, where culture, innovation, and diversity are celebrated and abundant.

Ellen lives in Raleigh, NC and holds a BS in Exercise Science and Pre-medical Studies from Elon University.

During her 13 years as CFO of MOM's Organic Market, Kelly saw firsthand how important it was to build a company culture that means something to the people who work there. When done well, you attract better talent, people are more engaged and productive, and retention improves. Her interest in people leadership led to her meeting Ellen in 2021, and Curious was fortunate to welcome her as Partner the following year.

Kelly was highlighted in EO's founder Verne Harnish's book, Scaling Up, and has spent her career leading growth companies and learning along the way. Kelly lives in Raleigh, NC. She completed her JD at UVA School of Law and holds a BS in Economics from Clemson.

Nola has over ten years of experience leading teams and building impactful relationships across account management and customer success departments at various SASS startups. This background has led to a natural transition into recruiting. Nola enjoys partnering with our candidates and clients where her goal is to put everyone at ease. She believes that when expectations are aligned you're destined for amazing outcomes. 

Nola lives in Raleigh, NC and holds a BS in Marketing and MBA in Nonprofit Management from University of Missouri - Columbia.

Lisa's love for recruiting stems from her background in customer service. She has been fine-tuning these skills since the age of 16 and has had a lifelong career in serving others.  She believes listening is one of the first steps in building a lasting relationship.  

Lisa has grit, determination and will not back down to a challenge. She strives to connect with clients and candidates beyond job descriptions and resumes to find a successful, long-term match. 

Lisa lives in Raleigh, NC and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from King's College.

Chelsea is a results-driven and people-focused leader with an MBA and expertise in talent acquisition and talent management. She has a proven track record of success in hiring top talent and driving engagement and retention strategies.​

The constant in Jill's diverse professional background is fostering connection with people. Prior to recruiting, Jill worked as a teacher and in customer success at a tech startup. She loves to learn about people and help them achieve their goals. The proof is in the pudding - all of the candidate's Jill has placed while are Curious are still with our clients today!

Jill's personality is contagious and she brings a boatload of energy to everything she does.

Jill lives in Raleigh, NC and has a Bachelor's in Consumer Affairs from Purdue. 

Salim hails from a successful and exciting career in collegiate and professional athletics, first at Southeast Missouri State and later with the NY Jets and Temple University.

Salim is like a bright light that makes everyone around him feel seen. He has deep care and appreciation for people and the unique qualities that define them. Salim approaches recruiting with a calm intensity and an open mind.
